In my opinion, the Four members of the Proud Boys convicted of January 6th seditious conspiracy were guilty and we need to punish them, and others, for the dangerous attack on our democratic institutions. Aggressive intimidation of lawmakers and court justices cannot go unpunished, lest we devolve into total anarchy. Protests outside the homes of the Supreme Court justices and the protests inside the Tennessee state house did not rise to same level level of seditious behavior as January 6th, but nonetheless those individuals must be punished to some degree to stop the use of these awful tactics in an attempt to thwart the will of the voters and the integrity of our democratic institutions. Our two party system structurally supports increasing extremism. Support the Center Party to bring civility and moderation back to politics.
