My name is Timothy Martin, and I am running to serve as your Colorado State Representative. With a professional background in private security and frontline experience working in a correctional facility, I bring a practical, grounded perspective on community safety and public service.

Every day, I see firsthand the challenges facing our state—challenges that the two major political parties are increasingly unable or unwilling to solve. Both parties have become bogged down in dysfunction and partisan extremism, prioritizing political ideology over the practical needs of everyday Coloradans. I am running with the Colorado Center Party to offer a realistic, commonsense alternative that puts people over politics.

Through my work in the correctional and security sectors, I understand the critical importance of public safety. Pursuing the American dream requires that our families, homes, and businesses are safe from crime. My experience has also given me direct insight into the severe impacts of untreated mental illness in our public spaces. Leaving mentally disturbed individuals to live on the streets without proper intervention creates unsafe conditions for both the individuals themselves and our broader communities. We must address these issues directly with balanced, firm, and humane solutions.

Beyond safety, making Colorado affordable again is a top priority. Rising costs are straining household budgets across our state. I believe that reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens and fostering genuine competition in the free market are the most effective ways to lower costs, create opportunity, and build a resilient economy for everyone.
