The Center Party is Pro-Choice and supports women’s right to make decisions about her own body.

Whereas restricting birth control and contraception results in potential unwanted pregnancies and abortions;

Be it resolved that the Center Party supports unrestricted and easy access to all forms of male and female birth control and contraception, including Plan B morning after pills.

 

Whereas unforeseen problems can occur late in a pregnancy where either the mother’s health is in danger or the fetus has serious defects;

Be it resolved that the Center Party does not believe late term abortions, although relatively few, should be restricted.

 

Whereas an unexpected pregnancy is a serious situation that is improved with information and advice;

Be it resolved that the Center Party supports access to counseling early in a pregnancy so that an informed decision can be made between keeping the child, adoption, or termination of the pregnancy.
