Colorado Center Party (COCP) Code of Ethics
I. The Constitutions of the United States of America and the State of Colorado serve as the legal foundation for the Colorado Center Party. We are wholly committed to supporting and defending the rights and rule of law enshrined within. No member of the COCP will engage in any activity or support any effort to undermine the letter or intent of the Constitutions of the United States of America and the State of Colorado. Importantly, the COCP respects and accepts the judicial rulings of duly appointed and elected justice officials, particularly as they apply to electoral results. Instilling and maintaining trust and acceptance of our free and fair elections is intrinsic to our democracy.
II. Integrity is a cornerstone to the trust between the citizens and their elected officials and is therefore fundamental to the core Ethos of the Colorado Center Party. All officers, candidates, and elected officials will uphold the highest standards of trust, accountability and transparency. Neither the COCP as a whole, nor any individual member, will engage in creating or proliferating intentional falsehoods or misrepresentations. The COCP will endeavor to correct any unintentional misrepresentation or falsehood as soon as it is discovered.
III. The Colorado Center Party is committed to defending the dignity of all citizens and the institutions of civil discourse in the American political ecosystem. All members, officers, and candidates will focus on fact-based policy, dialogue and compromise, while maintaining respect for the dignity and humanity of all.
The Colorado Center Party denounces any and all discourse attacking race, creed, religion, or orientation. Furthermore, the COCP will aim to keep debates focused on current issues and policies. Families of political opponents will be treated with the utmost dignity and respect and will be kept free from any attacks or aspersions.
