A proposed change in the Colorado land use code is itself undergoing change to stop the land grab by the state. SB23-213 is being changed to stop the state level takeover and keep most control local. Having the state mandate higher density housing in cities that don’t want it would be a severe over-reach. I don’t want Denverites telling smaller cities they must change their density. Not every city wants to be like Denver. Let’s reduce total immigration to ease up on the need for more housing.
