We condemn all forms of political violence as immoral and harmful to democracy. We also condemn any hateful rhetoric which cheapens human dignity or inflames tensions. Our children learn that violence is acceptable if we allow these social illnesses to fester. The mass detention of skilled temporary, mostly South Korean workers, ( including a few Chinese, Japanese and an Indonesian ) at a Hyundai plant in Georgia is the latest example of Washington's incoherent immigration and visa policies. These were not criminals or gang members; they were engineers and technicians supporting billions of dollars of investment within the United States. The leadership of the Republican Party of Colorado has called for the burning of Pride Flags in a ridiculous display of hatred. The Colorado Center Party condemns this abhorrent action against the human diversity we celebrate. The Center Party platform explicitly recognizes marriage equality for everyone regardless of identity and we support dignity and respect for everyone.
